Since our mission is that of serving the New Evangelisation by promoting the truths of the Catholic faith, we accomplish this through our publications which embrace the Church’s teachings on matters of life and faith.

We seek to work with Catholic authors and to enable them to promote the Gospel and a new Culture of Life through the printed word, in particular to children and to adults through teaching their children using our materials.

​

Our immediate aim is to reach those in search of their faith and to bring the Christian message to them in an accessible language. However, our focus will also be on titles which are meant to nourish the faith at various levels.

 

Considerations

Authors who wish to submit a proposal and/or manuscript to Clonmacnois Press are asked to keep in mind the following points:

​

• We seek proposals and/or manuscripts that inspire and nurture faith and that are in full accord with the official teachings of the Church’s Magisterium.

• Our subject categories include: Catholic Faith/Teaching, Faith & Culture, Family Life/Marriage , Children/Young People, Christian Life/Spirituality, Liturgy/Worship, Prayer/Meditation.

• We do not publish academic works which exceed 200 printed pages in length.

• We generally do not publish works that are about (or include substantial portions connected with) private revelations.

• We only publish works of fiction and poetry if they are inspired by the Christian message.

• We reserve the right to refuse publications for print.
